About Us

CastleRock was started because of our love for the wonderful breeds of dog we care for .  We are small, home, hobby breeders.  We only have a few litters a year and strive to maintain the breed standard paying special attention to eliminating the negative health issues with each breed.  We work the science, research the pedigree lines, and breed with a purpose of bettering the breed and producing the best happy, healthy puppies we can.

  Also, we would never want any of our puppies to end up in a shelter so our puppies and adults are always welcome back at the castle....for a lifetime.

Our babies are placed....not sold.

We have always been dog lovers, done our share of rescues from Pomeranians (Wolfie is pictured below) to Great Pyrenees. We volunteer at the local shelter and support fund raisers for non-profit animal groups.

The special boy in our family is our beloved "Sam" aka Uncle Sam. We rescued him several years ago from the streets of St. Robert, MO.  He is a wonderful Springer Spaniel/Border Collie mix. Sam watches out for everybody with his very sweet, easy going personality, he keeps everybody calm when puppy chaos erupts.  He is big brother to the Moms and Dads, and a protecting uncle to the little ones.

We live in a rural suburb of Tampa. What a beautiful place to raise puppies.  They love the shaded play area, the warm sun, and puppy patio that is just for them.

Caring for our puppies from their start is what our commitment is all about.
